Noah Noble served in many official positions throughout Indiana. He was sheriff and a member of the State Legislature for Franklin County, Indiana. He was also Receiver of public monies for Indianapolis Land District. In 1831, he was elected Governor of the State of Indiana and was re-elected for a second term.
